Important Club Notice In general things have been going well over the years that BORDC have had access to Forestry Commission & privately owned sites, but there is a concern about damage to tracks and woodland rides etc as a result of both legal and illegal off-roading activities.
A couple of our site landowners have been noticing increase in illegal activity from motor bikes, quads and other vehicles in the woods, forests and quarries and we want to try to help minimise this.† I would ask that all of our members be vigilant with regards identifying and reporting any unusual activity and particularly unauthorised motor bikes, quads and cars. It is also important as there have been a number of break-ins locally to the estates and private properties where quad bikes and motorbikes have been stolen, we want to be vigilant about the number of people that are about and who and what they are up to.
We would ask that if anyone sees any activity whilst setting up or attending any of our events please get photos if possible and report it to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send the information on to the correct authorities. Please include time, date, place and the amount of vehicles seen. We'd also like club members to remember to adhere to the club event rules and guidelines with regards access to sites and damage to the ground this will help us keep the good relationship with the landowners we have built up and hang on to very hard to get land ... many thanks in advance ADMIN.
